This webinar took place on the 27th of October 2020 with the support of the International Road Federation (IRF). In this webinar, we discussed the overall approach of Green Roads for Water and we shared successful examples and lessons learned from our 5-year experience in promoting and implementing Green Roads for Water programs in different kinds of roads, landscapes and hydrological situations for improved water management and connectivity though roads. Also, our representative from Nepal discussed the challenges and opportunities of Green Roads in mountainous areas and he presented different measures that can be applied in mountain roads that reduce the risk of road damage whilst also improve the productive value of these areas.
