The Tailor-Made Training on Green Roads for Climate Resilience and Water Management was successfully completed. The training was attended by 21 participants from the Department of Local Infrastructure (DoLI) and some local municipalities in Nepal. This training took place in Dhulikhel in Nepal. It included both classroom sessions (lectures and group discussions) and practical sessions in the field (scanning for water-related issues and opportunities for road water management on some selected road stretches). During this training different topics were discussed which covered 4 main modules:
- Road water management and environmental practice for Nepal – What is it
- Technical know-how and skills on low-cost, high impact solutions – how to do it?
- Capacity building and knowledge management – how to support local units?
- Inclusion through governance
